Engineer inspecting an LV main switchboard inside a UK industrial facility
Electrical · Industrial

Industrial electrical installations built for demanding sites.

End-to-end industrial electrical solutions for chemical works, manufacturing plants, engineering facilities and warehouses — from main LV switchboards to motor control centres, designed, installed and commissioned by our own engineers.

  • Main LV switchboards, motor control centres and sub-main distribution.
  • Containment systems and small power integrated across every level of the facility.
  • New-build design from the ground up, or phased upgrades to existing infrastructure.
  • SELECT and NICEIC members — compliant, tested and certificated on handover.

Why clients choose us for this

Switchboards and MCCs

Design, supply, installation and commissioning of main LV switchboards and motor control centres, sized to your process loads and future expansion — not just today's demand.

Sub-main distribution

Sub-main distribution and containment designed so future additions are a bolt-on rather than a rebuild. Clean cable routes, labelled and recorded throughout.

Minimal downtime

We build the project schedule around your production plan — night works, shutdown windows and phased changeovers so productivity is protected.

Compliance without the chase

SELECT and NICEIC membership, full RAMS, inspection and test schedules and complete O&M documentation issued at handover.

Precision and durability

Specification, containment and terminations chosen for harsh industrial environments — dust, moisture, vibration and heat — so the installation still performs in year ten.

Post-installation support

Ongoing inspection, testing and planned maintenance programmes so faults are found on a schedule you control rather than during a production run.

How it works

Step 1
Site survey

We walk the site, review existing distribution and record loads, constraints and access.

Step 2
Design & pricing

Detailed design, schematics and a line-item quotation — with clear scope boundaries.

Step 3
Phased installation

Works sequenced around your shifts and shutdowns, with full RAMS and permit compliance.

Step 4
Test & commission

Inspection, testing, certification and O&M handover, plus optional maintenance cover.

Frequently asked

Can you work around live production?+

Yes. Most of our industrial work is completed on live sites. We plan changeovers into shutdown windows, night shifts or weekends and agree the sequence with your production team before we start.

Do you design as well as install?+

We do. We can take a project from concept design and load calculations through schematics, pricing, installation and final commissioning — or work to a consultant's design where one already exists.

Which industrial sectors do you cover?+

Chemical works, manufacturing plants, engineering facilities, warehousing and distribution, food production and process industries across central Scotland.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance?+

Yes — periodic inspection and testing, thermographic surveys, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance can all be set up as a recurring programme.
