Home EV chargers — installed properly, by electricians.

Home EV charger installs across Scotland. Zappi, Ohme, Wallbox, Hypervolt and Andersen — solar-aware smart charging from a team that actually understands the rest of your energy system.

  • Grant-eligible installs — we can advise on the OZEV EV Chargepoint Grant and Home Energy Scotland loan.
  • Solar-aware smart charging (Zappi, Ohme): charge from your panels first, the grid second.
  • Tethered or untethered, 7kW or 22kW (3-phase), in white, black or stainless.
  • Earthing rod, RCD-protected and certified — not a quick-and-dirty install.

Why clients choose us for this

Brand-agnostic recommendation

Zappi if you have solar. Ohme if you want the cheapest hardware and tariff integration. Wallbox or Andersen for design-led homes. We recommend based on your setup — not what's on offer this month.

Solar-aware smart charging

Modes like Zappi's Eco+ charge your EV from surplus solar only — turning excess generation into miles instead of cheap export. With our integration we make sure it actually works as advertised.

Proper electrical work

Load assessment, dedicated 32A circuit, earth-rod where needed, RCD type-A or type-B as per regs. We notify Building Standards and your DNO as required — included in the quote.

Tidy install

Cable runs planned around your house — not the easiest path. We use external-grade conduit and SWA where appropriate, not stapled twin-and-earth across your render.

Multi-vehicle and 3-phase

Got two EVs or three-phase incoming supply? We design load-balanced installs that protect your main fuse — no nuisance trips when the EV and oven run together.

Tariff and app guidance

Octopus Intelligent, Cosy, Go and EDF GoElectric — we explain which works best with your charger and help you switch. Often saves £400–800/yr on its own.

How it works

Step 1
Quick quote

Send a couple of photos of your meter, consumer unit and proposed charger location — fixed quote within 24 hours.

Step 2
Survey (optional)

Free home survey for complex installs (long runs, 3-phase, solar integration).

Step 3
Install

Most installs are 3–4 hours. We commission the app, walk you through smart modes and notify Building Standards.

Step 4
Aftercare

3-year workmanship warranty, 3-year hardware warranty (most brands), and we're a phone call away if the app misbehaves.

Frequently asked

Which charger should I buy?+

Zappi for solar homes (best solar integration). Ohme if your priority is the cheapest install + best tariff integration. Wallbox / Hypervolt / Andersen for design-led installs. We'll recommend a specific model on your quote.

Do I qualify for the EV Charge Grant?+

Flat owners and renters with off-street parking can claim £350 via the OZEV EV Chargepoint Grant. Most homeowners aren't eligible since 2022 — but Home Energy Scotland loans cover the install interest-free.

How long does it take?+

Typical install is 3–4 hours for a straightforward consumer-unit-to-driveway run. Complex installs (long runs, sub-mains, 3-phase) are a half- to full-day job.

Can I charge two EVs?+

Yes — we install load-balanced dual-charger setups that share your supply intelligently, so you don't need to upgrade your main fuse.

What if I already have solar?+

Get a Zappi or Myenergi Eddi setup. We'll integrate it with your existing inverter so it diverts surplus solar into your EV automatically — typically adds 1,500–2,500 free miles/yr.
