Why clients choose us for this

Avoid the DNO upgrade

Most fleet electrification projects stall on grid capacity. Our load-managed designs — combining smart charging, on-site battery and solar — typically deliver the charging power you need without a six-figure DNO bill.

Grant funding handled

WCS, EVIG and Energy Saving Trust loan applications are part of our service. We'll model the post-grant cost so the business case is honest.

Open-protocol by default

Every charger we install is OCPP 1.6 / 2.0.1 compliant. You choose the back-office (Monta, Fuuse, has·to·be, your own) and keep the option to switch later.

Fleet, workplace or public

Depot charging for HGV and LCV fleets, workplace charging for staff and visitors, destination chargers for hospitality and retail — we deliver all three, often on a single site.

Solar- and battery-aware

Smart charging schedules align with on-site solar generation and cheap-tariff windows. Combined with storage, this can cut effective charging cost per mile by 70%+.

Built to last

We install IP54+ commercial-grade hardware from Alfen, Kempower, Project EV, Wallbox and ABB. Steel bollards, gland-sealed cabling and proper civils — not residential kit on a forecourt.

Frequently asked

Do we need a grid upgrade?+

Usually no. Roughly 85% of the sites we survey can be served by smart load management within existing capacity. We confirm this in the initial DNO check before anything is quoted.

What grants are available?+

OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (£350 per socket, up to 40 sockets), EV Infrastructure Grant for SMEs and the Energy Saving Trust low-carbon transport loan (Scotland-specific). We can advise on eligibility and install to the required standards.

Which chargers do you install?+

We're hardware-agnostic. For AC: Alfen, Wallbox, Project EV. For DC: Kempower, ABB, Wallbox Supernova. Selection is driven by use case, warranty terms and your back-office choice.

Can we use our own back-office?+

Yes — every charger is OCPP-compliant. Common back-offices we integrate with include Monta, Fuuse, Has·to·be, ChargePoint and Driivz.

What about staff billing and reimbursement?+

We configure RFID/app-based access control and energy reporting per user — so staff billing, fleet cost allocation and HMRC mileage records are straightforward.
